Standard Operating Procedures Co-ordinator

The Role
This is a new role within Metfinn. You will be responsible for leading, creating and developing the SOP process. It will involve engaging with all relevant stakeholders during the creation of SOPs. This role will cover all activity for both Metfinn sites. During the collaboration phase you will be expected to spend adequate time on the production floor to monitor the processes that will then form the SOP.
The Person
As this is a new role it could be ideal for a graduate with some experience & knowledge in Process Management and in creating and maintaining SOP’s across the business.
You will be integral in developing and maintaining this area of the business.
You will have a passion for helping to implement Improvements and enjoy interacting with all different disciplines within the business.
Core duties include
Create and maintain standard operating procedures for the business to cover all department.
Updating standard operating procedures as needed in a timely manner and ensuring staff are working to the correct revision.
Proactively manage task assignments or documentation projects to due dates, and report status.
Strong time management and project management skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail to lead content.
Create manuals for reference e.g spare parts manual for Greystone powder line and other machinery Spend time on production floor to monitor and understand the process the SOP will relate to.
Identify gaps in processes and work to ensure these are filled e.g blast machines maintenance checklist. Be on hand to deliver training to any new employees on how to engage with SOPs
